Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound
Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound

Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound is a continuing education course (2 CEUs) that discusses the clinical uses of ultrasound contrast, as well as the criteria and standards for using contrast agents. It emphasizes the various warnings and precautions for the injection of contrast in ultrasonography, particularly in patients with pulmonary hypertension.

The course provides learners with a greater understanding of the use of contrast agents in liver mass, vesicoureteral reflux, pulmonary hypertension, and other applications. It also distinguishes between various cardiac conditions and presents guidelines and recommendations for the administration of ultrasound contrast agents before, during, and after surgery.

*A quick note about terminology: We use the term CE credits and CEUs interchangeably, as in the context of radiologic technologist continuing education, both of these terms refer to the same thing. So whether you call them CE credits or CEUS, our Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound course will meet your CE requirements.
