Description:
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to learn or review the Cross-sectional anatomy of different structures of the brain for what an MR technologist should know. Also how to identify the anatomical structures in the head on MR images in different planes. We will also review what coils should be used for in a brain MRI exam, and how to plan and prescribe the slices to be scanned in the different anatomical planes as well as some basic pulse sequences commonly used for an MRI of the brain. Finally, we will look at some common pathology possibly seen in the brain on MRI.
