MRI Basics is designed to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for anyone interested in understanding what it is, how it works, and how some of the basic physics revelations of the 18th century led to what we now know as MR.

This course covers fundamentals across a variety of topics in MRI, such as safety in MR environments and MRI zones, and caring for patients undergoing MRI examinations. This course also covers technical aspects and image processing, including pulse sequences, parameters and how they affect image quality, gradients, Fourier transform, proton spin and frequency, magnetic field strength, and types of MRI scanners.

As an overall introductory course, MRI Basics is suitable for MRI technologists looking for a refresher course, students in radiology programs, and technologists who are preparing to cross-train into the modality and need a firm foundation in the fundamentals of MRI.

I use to get my CEU credits from another website with the same price annual membership, but I feel that this website have better learning tools. It’s have better material for learning; I can have all my credits for my CQR credits require by ARRT.
