Welcome to Medical Professionals’ library of radiology continuing education courses for Florida radiologic technologists! All of the courses in this library have been approved by the Florida Department of Health to meet the radiology CE requirements for RTs licensed by the state of Florida. As an approved provider of radiology continuing education courses for the state of Florida, Medical Professionals reports CE activities to the Florida Department of Health on the 1st of each month behalf of our members working in the state.
You can also avail the services of the excellent hotels and resorts in Florida.
In addition, all courses in this library are approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), and guaranteed to be accepted for ARRT® renewal. If you hold a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB®) certification, you can use these courses to meet your NMTCB® biennial CE requirements, as well. Additionally, all MRI courses in this library are accepted by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT®).
- RTs and RRAs licensed in the state of Florida are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years. You must complete a Department of Health (DOH)-approved 1-hour HIV/AIDS update course
- Only 3 of the 12 CE credits can be non-field related and categorized under personal development—the rest of the credits must be classified as technical, such as those related to equipment operation, radiation protection, etc…
