Description:
This session titled Optimizing Your MRI Parameters: Virtual Console Simulator provides for participants a virtual MRI interface that allows them to manipulate, in real time, image contrast, acquisition time, signal-to-noise ratio, and spatial resolution, as well as the number of slices allowed per acquisition. Before providing access to the virtual MRI simulator, the speaker will go through some theoretical slides to remind participants of the basic and fundamental principles of MR. Using the MRI simulator in this session, with the guidance and support of the speaker, the participants will try to optimize the acquisition parameters to answer 6 concrete optimization cases. They can use all available parameters, such as TR, TE, turbo factor, and bandwidth to optimize the quality of the sequence.
