What are the continuing education requirements for R.R.A’s®?

The Radiologist Assistant (also known as an R.R.A®) must complete 50 radiology continuing education (CE) credits every two years. CE requirements for R.R.A® professionals will begin the day after obtaining the R.R.A® certification and registration. The 50 CE credits required must comply with the following criteria:

At least 25 must be category A+ credits, while the remaining 25 can be a blend of category A or category A+
A minimum of 35 credits must pertain to disciplines or specialties relevant to the broader practice area of a radiologist assistant, rather than individual roles

What are my continuing education requirements for ARRT® certification and registration as a registered radiologist assistant (R.R.A)?

A registered radiologist assistant (R.R.A) must acquire 50 CE credits every two years. Out of these 50 CE credits:

25 must be category A+ CE credits while the other 25 credits can be category A or A+
and 35 credits (of the total 50 CE credits) must be discipline or specialty-specific

What is the easiest way to fulfill my requirements for ARRT® certification and registration as a registered radiologist assistant (R.R.A.®)?

To fulfill your requirements for ARRT® certification and registration, you have two options:

Enroll in one of our 50-credit CE packages to meet your entire requirements of 50 CE credits (which include 25 A+ credits and 35 credits in a discipline)

Enroll in the A+ Package, which includes 25 category A+ credits, and purchase the rest from the Radiology CE Library to complete your requirements

I don’t see my state in the list of states that accept your CE programs. Does this mean my state won’t accept your courses?

We list several states (Florida, California, Texas, Oregon, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and New Mexico) only because these states have unique and specific CE credit requirements for radiologic technologists and registered radiologist assistants.
